Santander Consumer Finance has overhauled its dealer review programme.
The finance house is now providing dealers with analysis of data on finance performance, product selection and customer retention.
Each review will produce a summary of the key actions agreed as well as acting as documentary evidence for key regulatory areas.
Regional managers are now looking at finance applications compared with acceptances to try and improve performance.
The new review may also help dealers in reporting to regulators and increase transparency.

“Our aim is to enable dealers to succeed by helping them deliver the best possible customer outcomes while building a long-term partnership.
“The reviews are not intended to focus around performance numbers, but rather to be a meaningful and highly developmental programme that help our dealers be the best they can be.”
