Hendy Group has opened a FordStore and Transit centre in Portsmouth in an event attended by Ford UK director of sales Kevin Griffin.
In January Hendy announced it was investing in Portsmouth, building a new Kia showroom and the FordStore on site. The Portsmouth FordStore is the second in the Hendy portfolio following Eastleigh.
Hendy Holdings is rated 41 in the Motor Trader Top 200 with annual turnover of £249.9m.
Hendy chief executive Paul Hendy said: “As one of Ford’s leading dealers in the UK we are committed to offering the very best in customer experience and this FordStore is part of an overall investment plan in our facilities throughout the group.
“Portsmouth continues to be a key location for the group and these new facilities firmly establish the city’s importance within the group.”
