Lead Generation Service Added To Marketing Delivery ‘Smart’ Portfolio

Specialist automotive marketing company Marketing Delivery has added an exclusive lead generation service to its bespoke product portfolio for car, van and bike dealers. SmartLeads is the result of a link-up with MarketingFile to provide top quality data for more than five million car drivers throughout the UK, direct from the insurance industry.

SmartLeads uses all the usual search criteria of make, model, age of car, postcode area, etc and will also accommodate searches based on the owner’s occupation. This added feature has been used to good effect for van dealerships recently as prospects are being targeted based on whether their occupation indicates they’re likely to drive a van, ie painter, gardener, plumber.

Jeremy Evans, managing director of Marketing Delivery, explained how the SmartLeads service works: “The dealership agrees a monthly budget for the number of leads they want us to target and we'll contact each one three times with a well-constructed email. If the prospect clicks on a link to the dealership’s website, we will follow them up to see if they found what they were looking for or need the dealer to contact them.”

Dealers can access the SmartLeads service for as little as £1 per lead per month with a minimum of 100 leads. The team at Marketing Delivery uses its collective experience to design and construct marketing emails that deliver powerful and effective messages to prospects. Quarterly changes to the email design are included in the price although, of course, changes can be made more regularly at the dealership’s request for a small fee.

SmartLeads uses Marketing Delivery’s SmartMail, the specialist eCRM system, for the email broadcast and tracking. Telephone enquiries can be handled by call tracking and recording system SmartCall.
