MG Motor has appointed Pinkstone Cars to represent the brand in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

The Pinkstones MG dealership opens this week with a 2,500 sq ft showroom on the A34 a mile from the town centre. It will feature a six car showroom and offer full servicing facilities.

The appointment is MG Motor’s first signing of 2012 as the Longbridge-based Chinese-owned brand moves to increase its network from 38 to 55 sites by the end of the year.

Pinkstone is a family run business which holds the Toyota franchise for Stoke-on-Trent. Simon Pinkstone, managing director, said: “We are about to celebrate our silver jubilee and winning the MG franchise for the Stoke area is a fantastic present. We are really proud of this and can’t wait to start introducing the new MG6 models to our customers.”
