Brayley is adding Mazda and Kia to its line-up in Harpenden, Hertfordshire.

Managing director Paul Brayley plans to open a new dual-franchise showroom and servicing centre in three months time, trading as Brayley’s of Harpenden.

It is anticipated that the new business will create up to 35 new jobs in the area.

Brayley currently has four Honda dealerships in Hemel Hempstead, Enfield, Grays and St Albans.

Brayley said: “Despite the challenging economic climate, I’m very excited at the prospect of developing the company further with three brands, as a customer focused and financially robust regional dealer group.

"Since we started trading almost 10 years ago, we’ve proven that there’s a healthy market for good old fashioned service in supporting motorists, where people are well looked after.”

Brayley, established in 2003, employs 110 staff.
