Isuzu adds dealers to network

Thursday, 13 August 2009
tunnicliffe240Isuzu (UK) has increased its dealer network to 86 following the appointment of Bob Gerard in Leicester.

Bob Gerard already holds the Daihatsu franchise, which is also managed by IM Group in the UK, and it also sells used Hondas.

Bob Gerard dealer principal Martin Charles said: "We pride ourselves in catering for the need of our customers and are delighted to add the Isuzu franchise to our business.

Natural progression

"We believe this is a natural progression in our desire to meet our past, current and future customer's requirements and complements our existing business."

Back in April, the Motor Trader Franchising Open Points Report showed Izusu with 24 open points. Since then it has been adding dealers to the network.

New appointments

Isuzu (UK) managing director Paul Tunnicliffe (pictured), who earlier this year restructured operations at IM Group, said: "We have made a number of appointments in 2009 for our continued growth and development.

Clearly it is vital that we have the right people with the right skills in our dealer network and Bob Gerard Limited fit in perfectly."
