Seat aims to kick-start slowing sales in January

Monday, 22 December 2008
Seat is aiming to kick-start January sales with a round of offers for buyers. The "Revolution" deals include a discount of up to £2,000 off Seat list prices.

For a limited time the Leon Stylance 1.9 TDI 105 PS costs £13,220 compared to £15,220 before. The Seat Revolution deals will run for a few weeks in January as Seat aims to build share.

In the year to November, Seat sales were down almost 15%, compared to the market as a whole, which was down 10.7%.

Seat UK head of marketing, Steve Robertson, said: "We've devised the Seat Revolution offers to very clearly underline the already impressive proposition our cars make to private buyers.

"Our reputation for generous levels of specification, our commitment to the highest build quality, or consistently strong residual values and our dealers' determination to deliver exceptional customer service means we're perfectly placed to start 2009 very strongly."
