Car Crash TV

Schumacher F1 special! Watch him battle with Hill (on the track) and Coulthard (off the track), bow out at Silverstone (off the track) and take on Clarkson (on the sofa) | Print |
Friday, 12 March 2010

car-crash-tv-animation-nopicsIt's that time of year again already...F1 is back! To celebrate this, Car Crash TV is paying tribute to the legend that is Michael Schumacher. These clips will whet your appetite as the seven times winner returns to the track for the first time in four years.

It's 1994. We are in Adelaide. Schumacher is driving for Benetton. He then rams our very own Damon Hill. Relive this blatant win win win mentality from Schumacher's early days.

It's 1998. We are now in Spa. Schumacher is driving for Ferarri and leading the race. He then attempts to lap a slow moving Coulthard, but smashes straight into the back of him in poor conditions. Watch as an irate Schumacher storms down the pit lane to confront the Scot, accusing him of trying to kill him.

It's 1999. We are in the more local surroundings of Silverstone. Schumacher is in his Ferarri. He then crashes spectacularly and as a result breaks his leg.

It's 2009. We are in the Top Gear studio. Schumacher is now sitting on a sofa with a white helmet on. He is the Stig! Or is he? Answers on a postcard...

England v Germany, but with a difference; A couple getting it on in this raunchy advert; Harley Davidson in record jump; Porsche 911 Bungee Jump | Print |
Friday, 05 March 2010

car-crash-tv-animation-nopicsThe rivalry between England and Germany is second to none. 1966 immediately springs to mind... This clip shows us a different aspect to these two great nations' competitiveness. The questions is...who can fit the most people in to a Smart car? England win 14-13!

This outrageous advert shows how music really is the food of love for softies; it's a good job a nodding dog wasn't involved in its making.

This is a very basic clip. Man jumps a large distance in his Harley Davidson. A record and a safe landing all achieved. Cool jump though.

0-60 in 2.8 seconds. Some people just don't like Porsches. An innocent Porsche 911 has been attached to a crane and then unceremoniously dropped to its doom. If you enjoy watching an expensive vehicle getting obliterated from a very great height, then this is the place for you!

Boom! Building is blown up! Car's near miss on level crossing; Real life jetpack. Cool; Rather ironic and probably banned Toyota advert | Print |
Friday, 19 February 2010

car-crash-tv-animation-nopicsDynamite! Admittedly there are no actual cars involved in this clip, but surely a 30 storey building being blown up by enormous quantities of dynamite is well worth watching. Enjoy the destruction.

It's generally not a good idea to breakdown on a level crossing, especially if there is a rather fast train coming. Thankfully a hero steps forward and saves the driver from being obliterated, with only inches to spare.

Again a fairly tenuous link to cars, but seeing a real life jetpack being put through its paces will make your Friday complete. You too can be James Bond and jetpack around the world. Not sure we could afford one though...

This rather ironic Toyota advert is certainly more poignant now that is was when first aired. It's funny. It's clever. It's also slightly disturbing. Enjoy!

Love is in the air! Sexy advert from Mercedes; Train vs Truck. Train wins. Truck loses; Rocky ride. Idiot flips car; Snow joke. Icy hill defeats defenceless cars | Print |
Friday, 12 February 2010

car-crash-tv-animation-nopicsGot a card? Bought some flowers? To celebrate Valentine's Day, we have included this sexy advert from Mercedes to get you all in the mood. All of this naughty action builds up to one killer line. Don't forget the big day is on Sunday!

Basically this clip shows a train smash into a truck. Not much more to say really. Nothing like a bit of carnage to bring joy to your Friday.

Who knows what this idiot is trying to do, but he ends up flipping his car on this rocky incline, all for our entertainment.

The snow is back! These cars really struggle to get up this hill. In fact, they seem to prefer sliding down it backwards, smashing into unsuspecting cars in the process. Watch these helpless cars make a mess of this hill from the relative safety of your computer.

Banned fun from Mazda; Ouch! When skateboarder and car collide; Truck annihilates footbridge; Virgin launch 'virtual' F1 car | Print |
Friday, 05 February 2010

car-crash-tv-animation-nopicsCar Crash TV wouldn't be the same without a banned advert to add fun to your Friday. This naughty Mazda advert shows us that looks aren't everything, rather it's the car you drive that gets the girl.

Crunch! This intrepid skateboarder hurtles down a rather steep hill but unfortuately doesn't adhere to the give way sign and has a close encounter with a car. No one was badly hurt in this clip, except maybe an ego and a bit of pride.

With the F1 season almost upon us, Virgin Racing have unveiled their car for the 2010 season. However, this is not just another F1 car...it has been designed, built, tested (and possibly will be driven...) entirely on a computer. It is Virgin's first time (sorry, couldn't resist) in Formula One but they have "absolute belief" in the digital design process. The world will be watching on the 14th of March...

Smash! This amazing footage shows the moment a truck in Turkey spectacularly obliterates a footbridge. Watch for yourselves. Complete carnage!

Banned Honda advert; Bird vs Truck; Idiot truck driver who is both an idiot and a truck driver; The latest car accessory - a monkey in your boot! | Print |
Friday, 15 January 2010

car-crash-tv-animation-nopicsThis banned Honda advert shows us a unique, if not rather disturbing way of protecting your car against thieves. Throw in a pig and a midget and you've got the perfect security system. Zap!

Why this bird decides to attack an innocent truck is anyone's guess. He is valiant in his attempt to defeat his adversary, but the truck refuses to rise to the challenge, much to consternation of our feathered friend. A draw would be a fair result.

This amateur stunt driver shows off his skills to the camera, but things start to go wrong when it turns out that he is in fact both an idiot and a truck driver and certainly not a stuntman. Pretty sure he won't be doing this again in a hurry.

This week's second clip to address the problems of car thieves, shows us another effective way of keeping the criminals from stealing your car. Put a monkey in the boot! Affectionately known as "Trunk Monkey" this primate is an all encompassing security device which not only stops the car thief in their tracks, but also disposes of the problem, permanently. Thieves will think twice before messing with Trunk Monkey!
