Citygate takes on Skoda in north west London

The new dealership officially opened this month with Robert Hazelwood, brand director of Skoda UK attending the launch ceremony.

Citygate Group has nine sites across northwest London, Middlesex, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire, employing 330 staff.

Simon Bennett, head of marketing at Citygate Group, said: "Citygate in one guise or another has been working with the Volkswagen Group for over twenty years. When the opportunity arose for us to add a Skoda dealer outlet to the company, we felt it would not only strengthen our sales offering but be complementary."

Hazelwood said: "Citygate has built an excellent reputation in north west London and the Home Counties, and the opening of this new retailer in Colindale marks an exciting chapter for both businesses."
