It’s a testimony to Audi’s designers that its outgoing A6 saloon, did not actually look as though it needed replacing, even though it was first launched back in 2004. The same is so of the recently launched Avant. However, in the ultra conservative executive class the new look is a gentle evolution rather than an envelope-pushing design. Despite that the sculptured looks are certainly fresh and attractive.
