Many thanks to everyone who attended the 20th Motor Trader Awards on Wednesday (14 July).
Living up to its title as the biggest awards night in the car retailing industry calendar, the awards took place in front of a packed house at London's Grosvenor House Hotel.
Good night Judging by the feedback we've received a good night was enjoyed by all with TV sports presenter Ray Stubbs helping to present the awards and comedian Dave Spikey providing some after dinner laughs.
Amongst this years' well deserved winners were Marshall Motor Group, our Dealer Group of the Year, Hyundai, who won our Car Franchise of the Year honours and Ford Retail who were presented with the Customer Care Award.
Behind the scenes We were also delighted to be able to acknowledge the behind the scenes roles played by the SMMT's Paul Everitt and RMI NFDA's Sue Robinson in getting the government to think about and implement a scrappage scheme. Their joint win of the Outstanding Achievement Award also reflected the new found joined up thinking between our industry's two main trade associations.
Well done to all our finalists and congratulations to all our winners.
Next year Time to start thinking about the 2011 Motor Trader Industry Awards...
