Overfinch bought out of administration

Overfinch Bespoke Vehicles, the specialist Range Rover customiser, has been bought out of administration by Autobrokers.

Autobrokers, the specialist supplier of high performance cars, was the UK’s largest retailer of Overfinch products having traded as Overfinch Leeds.

Autobrokers said it intends to make “substantial investment in key operational and product development areas” including a return to engineering enhancements and limited edition vehicles as well a new range of styling enhancements for the full range of Land Rover vehicles.

Overfinch, based in Farnham, Surrey, was launched in 1975 and operates in 15 territories and is best known for the Holland & Holland Range Rovers its has supplied to celebrity customers such as Jeremy Clarkson, Steven Gerrard and Colleen Rooney. It went into administration in November 2010.

“Overfinch’s 35 year history of producing high quality enhancements, for customers across the globe, represents a strong platform to expand sales and broaden the product range. There were a number of bids for the business and the level of interest in acquiring the Overfinch brand is testament to its popularity and global appeal”, said Kevin Sloane, chairman of Autobrokers.

“We are committed to investing in the business to enhance the product range and our customer service and expansion of sales with both existing and new customers. We would like to thank the customers and suppliers of Overfinch Bespoke Vehicles, for their support of the business over the recent past and their confidence in the workforce and future of the business.”
