Toyota picks up training award

Toyota has been named as the national organisation winner of the Edge Employer Awards for 2006.

Edge, an educational foundation, awarded Toyota £50,000 to invest in vocational training in recognition of the carmaker's vehicle technician apprentice training scheme. Toyota won the award ahead of rival manufacturers including VW, Honda, Land Rover and Jaguar.
