The average price of a new car in the UK increased by 1.
3 per cent during the 12 months to September 2006. According to the latest study by Roadtodata. The price rise outstripped Europe where the average cost of a new car increased by just 0.9 per cent during the same period. New car prices in the UK are now 3 per cent higher than the average price of new cars in the euro currency zone.
