Tuesday, 12 December 2006
Fuel economy and running costs are the main priorities for UK new car buyers, according to research by Gilbran, the automotive real estate company.

After purchase price, 18 per cent of drivers cited fuel economy and running costs as the most important considerations in choosing a car, compared to 12 per cent who named design and style and 10 per cent each who opted for reliability and brand image. Just 7 per cent of drivers said performance was their prime consideration.
