Kia confirms Williams exit

Kia has confirmed that managing director Paul Williams has left the company.

Williams joined Kia in 2002 from the Colt Car Company where he was sales and marketing director. “I think the time is right for me to move in a new direction and for the company to continue its journey without me,” he said. Previously Williams was chief executive at Daihatsu UK. He has also held posts with Mercedes-Benz, Nissan and Peugeot. No successor has been announced.
