Bramall was chairman and a director of CD Bramall until February 2004. The appointment was agreed at a Lookers' extraordinary general meeting last week. Earlier this year, Bramall acquired a 24.4 per cent stake in Lookers, helping ward off a hostile takeover approach from Pendragon.
