Mr Clutch Autocentres is re-positioning itself in the fast-fit market following trials of a new franchise model.
The company has expanded its range of services beyond clutch and transmission testing to include MoT testing and servicing. The company said changes in the motor maintenance and repair sector had forced it to re-evaluate its business model. “New rules arising out of the EU block exemption will allow us to compete against the main dealers for service business and possibly warranty work in the future,” Finance director Trevor Steel said.
