Premier Motor Auctions records profits rise

Premier Motor Auctions has announced an increase in profits to the end of the financial year.

Turnover was up 12 per cent from £7.7m to £8.6m, with operating profit rising to £2.3m. The group, which operates from its Leeds headquarters, said it remained optimistic for the remainder of the year despite a downturn in new car sales. It reported that trading conditions in the vehicle resale market had remained stable throughout 2005.
