Drivers that smoke in their cars run the risk of knocking hundreds of pounds off its re-sale value, a new survey has claimed.
According to Manheim Auctions, in three-quarters of the cars driven by smokers, it is impossible to eliminate the effect smoking has had on the interior. This can result in a loss of £200 on the vehicle's re-sale value. The survey also found that 48 per cent of car buyers would not purchase a car previously owned by a heavy smoker.
