VW reaches production milestone

Volkswagen has reached a production milestone after the 100 millionth car rolled off the assembly line.

A silver Touran became the landmark car at the manufacturer's car plant in Wolfsburg, Germany yesterday. Volkswagen first produced vehicles in 1945 and since then has manufactured over 21.5 million Beetles, 23 million Golfs and 13 million Passats.
