Nissan completes turnaround

Nissan has announced record results in 2004.

Global sales rose to 3.39 million vehicles and net income reached £2.59bn in the year ended 31 March 2005. The company also managed to wipe out its remaining automotive debt and ended the year with £1bn in cash. Nissan president and chief executive Carlos Ghosn said: “The story of Nissan's revival is now complete.”
