Honda has opened the doors to its first environmentally-friendly dealership in Romford Essex. The site, which will be run by Inchcape, recycles rainwater, and uses ground source heating pumps and solar power. ![]() The carmaker claims the use of renewable energy sources means the new site will use around 30 per cent less energy than a standard car showroom.
Honda said the Romford showroom represented the first of its “next generation” dealerships and would set the benchmark for the rest of the dealer network.
It is also one of the first in the UK to feature Honda's new corporate identity that is set to be rolled out across the brand's European retail network.

Its good to see yet ... Its good to see yet another new generation dealership being built especially in the current economic climate. Honda and Inchcape have also shown they are not afraid of opening up alongside Ford's own new dealership and investing in an area traditionally dominated by Ford. |
