North-East based car hypermarket Tyneside Autoparc has signed a contract with One Stop Shop Finance to provide funding for customers from one central source on-site. Established in 2003, the 10-acre premises stocks over 1,200 cars, with 25 individual used car dealerships trading under the umbrella of Tyneside Autoparc. ![]() All of the dealerships on the premises have a centralised finance facility and have now adopted DealTrak Broker, a one-stop application processing system for finance brokers from frontline Solutions.
Dealers confirm customer requirements for financing, which is then passed on to the Autoparc Bank located on site.
One Stop Shop Finance staff then liaise with finance companies directly, and give feedback to the dealers to conclude the sale.
Ian Dailey, One Stop Shop managing director, was confident economic uncertainty would have little effect on business.
“Despite the economic climate and uncertain business environment, we are enjoying a very good year and are delighted the market has come alive again.”
Additionally, Tyneside Autoparc has secured funding to help expand and allow new
franchises to establish themselves at the site through a deal with Alliance and Leicester Commercial Bank’s Tyne & Wear business centre.
The deal will allow the business to provide funding for its on-site dealers enabling quick decisions on stock finance and more flexibility.
Expansion plans include a light commercial operation as well as a paint shop, tyre depot and bigger workshop facilities.
This should create 50 new jobs in addition to the current 200-strong workforce, and boost annual turnover from £35m to £50m.
Geoff Dawson, proprietor at Autoparc, said: “Negotiations are also underway to acquire a further four acres of land for expansion and we are looking to attract and fund new dealers.”
