Skoda car dealer takes on the Donegal rally

Skoda’s largest car dealer in Northern Ireland is entering the International Donegal Rally in a 200bhp Fabia VRS.

John Mulholland has competed in 20 rallies in the supermini, which was purpose-built from scratch by his rally team, and it will be the only diesel car to participate in the competition.

“This is a ‘people’s rally car’, built and developed for a fraction of the cost normally required to engineer a rally car, which means you don’t need to be a millionaire to participate in the sport,” said Mulholland.
