Honda bids to make TV history

Honda will attempt to make TV history tonight when it airs a live advert on Channel 4 featuring a team of 19 skydivers parachuting over Madrid.

The daredevils featured in the ad, which the carmaker is describing as the UK's first ever live commercial, will have three minutes and ten seconds to spell out the word Honda before pulling their cords.

The advert, which is promoting the Accord, airs at 8.10pm tonight during the show Come Dine with Me. The skydiver campaign continues this weekend when ‘Jump', the main TV advert, makes its debut.
