Apprentice hopeful Sara Dhada is fired
International car trader gets the boot by Sir Alan Sugar

Apprentice hopeful Sara Dhada was fired from the hit BBC 1 TV show last night.

The international car trader was fired by Sir Alan Sugar, following a boardroom showdown with the three other members of the losing Renaissance team.

Renaissance had failed the week's wedding task, selling wedding dresses and losing heavily to the winning Alpha team.

Sir Alan Sugar accused Dhada of “alienating customers” during the task and forming “confused arguments”.

He also said he could not have a person “sounding like an air raid siren” working for him.

Dhada, the ninth person to be fired from the current series, said the experience had made her realise she was better working alone rather than as part of a team.

“I found it hard working as part of a team and I learnt that I can't do that,” said Dhada.

“I will work individually and that's what I am going to do.”
Prior to the show, Dhada worked for the family business in Leicester Dhada Motors.
The company's main business is exporting right hand drive prestige German marques, including Audi and BMW, to Far Eastern markets such as Malaysia.

It has been trading for 15 years and offers a variety of vehicle brokerage services beyond exports, including finding particular cars for clients and selling vehicles on behalf of private owners.
