Nissan goes all Godfather, a live car crash and catching the folks in the act...
09 May 2008
It's the weekly Motor Trader YouTube round-up!
Nissan gets all Godfather in THIS US CLIP, which aims to highlight the toughness of its SUVs. A scantily-clad gangsters moll kisses her mobster goodbye as he leaves with a holdall full of cash. He gets into his Nissan and starts the engine but someones wired a bomb to the ignition. She screams in horror as it detonates, will he survive? Of course he does. Clip of the week!We like to think of ourselves as an open-minded bunch here at CCTV Towers but there's something a bit wrong about THIS KIWI AD. Catching the folks at it is a scar many of us bear from childhood but thank god they weren't as imaginative as the parents featured here. It all gets a bit wrong at the end when the horse make its presence known. You have been warned! Forget Paul Daniels and David Blaine because there's no way either of them could pull off THIS DISAPPEARING TRICK. One minute the car's shuttling down the autobahn, the next, there's a puff of smoke and it's gone. A spotters badge to the first person that can tell us here at CCTV how the hell it happened. In a live news bulletin about dangerous car crashes at a junction in Louisville, Kentucky, what is the one thing bound to interrupt the broadcast? Yep, you guessed it. TWO CARS manage to smash into each other on the problematic 26th and Duncan intersection as the reporter films his piece to camera. Only in America folks, onlyin America.
