They obviously didn't ask the many Prius owners who say that their cars achieve nothing like the MPG claimed by Toyota. It even used more fuel than a BMW 520 diesel on a trip from London to Geneva. http://driving.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/driving/used_car_reviews/article3552994.ece

It's kinda funny to see how many that belives that the Prius is a enviromental friendly car, while the average co2-outlet, in the climate in UK and northen europe at least, and the production-"cost"*, is much higher than a mid-size diesel-based car. * The cost on the enviroment from the production is larger for the Prius than a large SUV, and the life expectency is shorter. Research show that e.g. a Passat Bluemotion, which is a larger car, for most will have a lower co2-emission than a Prius. Prius is for people that want to show off that they "care about the enviroment", but ain't clever enough to understand that they really ain't.

This isn't news to Prius owners around the world, we know we have the best car on the market and will continue to until Toyota bring out a better one.
