Along with the manufacturers introduction of a new 175PS 2.2 TDCi premium diesel engine, the model is also available with a five-cylinder petrol engine.
Standard equipment includes in-dash six CD player, voice control, rain sensing wipers, automatic headlights, front and rear park assist, dual-zone climate control and the Ford Power start button.
Additional upgrades over the standard Titanium include advanced Bluetooth connectivity, bi-xenon lights, alloy pedals and sports suspension.
Ford said the Titanium X Sport was created in response to the recent surge in retail demand for top end versions of Mondeo.
