Nissan gets spoofed, Kobe Bryant jumps an Aston and a rather unfortunate hillock
18 April 2008
It's the weekly Motor Trader YouTube round-up!
For those of you who don't know him Adam Buxton is one half of comedy duo Adam and Joe. For those of you who do know him, you'll know that he's turned his attentions to taking the mickey out of everything, from Richard and Judy to Songs of Praise, and sticking the results online. Nissan's off-road animal ad gets the Buxton treatment HERE and it's an internet gem! Clip of the week!Basketball supremo Kobe Bryant reckons he can jump an on-rushing Aston Martin no sweat. We reckon it's a big steaming pile of bull sh.. (watch it Swearing Ed), so WATCH THIS and you lot can make your own minds up. The fact that the advert takes place on the rooftop of an inner city skyscraper may help you decide. Advertising the benefits of ESP must be every advertiser's nightmare the equivalent of scriptwriters coming up with another wacky' Last of the Summer Wine plot. It's impossible. Thank god for Bosch then, their imaginative employees, and this truly superb computer rally game concept, which makes THIS CLIP a rather enjoyable romp. The driver of the number four rally car seems to be doing rather well. On a course set in the beautiful French countryside, he's on a decent lap time and the sun is shining. What could possible go wrong? Douze points if you said a narrow road coupled with an unexpected mossy hillock. Amazingly he survives and manages to walk away.
