“Joining Koelliker UK and SsangYong now is a great opportunity to bring all my experience to bear on what is a new company and a new start for the brand,” said Nicholson.

“I'm excited by being able to implement change and shape the future of this franchise.”

It will be interesting if the franchise can move much beyond the 5,000. The run up to 3000 this year will be easy, the market is there. However, after that and all pre-regs have been exhausted, the medium term objective should be only 5,000. An objective of 10,000 3 to 5 years out is frankly Fantasyland. Koelliker will lose a lot of money if buybacks, demos, pre-regs, and other artifical sales techiniques are over employed to make targets.

SSANGYONG FOREVER says:
In response to the previous clown that commented, I feel that Ssangyong does have a bright future in th UK and is realistic in their sales objectives . Ssangyong's previous failings were all down to poor senior management . As a well established Ssangyong dealer we are very optimistic about the future under new, motivated, profesional and qualified mangement.
