Motaquip boss joins pro-licensing lobby
Wednesday, 23 February 2005
There is a “good case” for licensing of service and repair outlets following the failure of self-regulation, according to the general manager of parts distributor Motaquip.

Speaking to Motor Trader David Higgins said: “Licensing would be in the best interests of both the consumer and the industry and is a massive opportunity for the industry in terms of customer satisfaction.” However he stressed that the sector would need to pull together to make sure that any legislation was both practical and workable.
