Knutsford-based Mangoletsi, Alfa Romeo's largest UK dealership, sold the first of just 41 of the two-seater sport cars coming to the UK, all of which have been snapped up before arrival.

Managing director of Mangoletsi, Fraser Hudson, is taking the buyer to Italy to collect the car from the Alfa Romeo factory and drive it around the Alfa test track.

Fraser said: “It's extremely exciting to be handing over the Competizione to the first owner in the UK. This is one of the most exclusive cars that Alfa has produced.” Not hard to believe, considering a price tag of £111,000.
