Mercedes-Benz SLK: First pictures released

DaimlerChrysler has released the first pictures of its new Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class Roadster.

The second generation two-seater incorporates 650 newly developed parts and new-look front and rear sections.

Pricing for the new model is yet to be confirmed
Available in three engine variants, the SLK comes to UK showrooms in April. Pricing will be announced closer to the official launch date. The SLK range first launched in 1997 and sales are approaching the 500,000 mark, with over 40,000 units sold in the UK.
