That banned Volkswagen spoof, the mother of all Christmastime pile-ups, and how not to flip your car...
Friday, 21 December 2007
To get in the festive spirit Car Crash TV presents to you the mother of all Yuletide car smashes. Think Top Gear meets Disney on ice and you're still nowhere close to envisaging this multi-car pile up. Hasn't anyone in the U.S heard of road gritters? Anyone, gritters?

What does your car say about you? Greenpeace asks that very question and if you're a 4x4 driver living in town it's not an answer that's very nice. Check out their protest against the Chelsea tractor brigade. Meanwhile, over in what could be Kazakhstan (judging by the Boratesque 'taches) they've got problems of their own and that doesn't include global warming. One of the locals has flipped his car and has enlisted the entire population of the village to help flip it back. A classic lesson on how not to upright your vehicle! Viral or spoof? This ad, which Volkswagen claimed it had nothing to with, sparked controversy across the UK when it was released online after the 7/7 London bombings. VW planned on suing the mystery duo said to be behind the adverts, Lee Lockwood and Dan Brooks, but it doesn't look like any legal action was taken - here it is for all to see. Merry Xmas to all our readers from all at Motortrader.com - we'll be back in the new year with more of the same!
