Misfortune strikes twice for Guernsey dealer

A high-profile retailer in the Channel Islands has been hit with a second disaster in just over a year after a rogue whirlwind tore the roof off his workshop.

Dave Beausire, whose dealership at Le Mont Saint Grange in Guernsey only re-opened in the summer after it was gutted by fire, said the latest setback had come “as a bit of a shock” but added the business was back up and running. A former president of the Guernsey Motor Trades Association, Beausire holds Fiat, Subaru and Isuzu franchises.
