Gas conversion programme finds backing
Wednesday, 16 February 2005
Insurance companies have backed the LPGA Approved Installer scheme.

Research carried out by the trade association, which backs the use of LPG-powered cars, found that all of the top 20 insurance companies would insure a vehicle converted by an approved installer and only two would charge an extra premium. The voluntary Approved Installer scheme, which is run in conjunction with the Department for Transport, provides a list of companies judged competent to undertake LPG conversions.
