Citroen has launched a new programme through its dealer network offering customers a ‘Stay Green' health check.
The check aims to minimise the environmental impact of Citroen cars through a series of tests which ensure emissions levels and fuel consumption are kept to minimum. Green ambition Owners of all types of Citroen cars and vans, regardless of their vehicle's age, are also offered advice on how to reduce the carbon footprint of their Citroens.
Technicians perform diagnostic checks on the fuel and engine management systems to make sure the fuel mix is at the correct level and emissions are at a minimum.
Condition of tyres, engine, gearbox and battery are also carried out.
Citroen expects most of its dealers to participate in the scheme.
