Nationwide teams up with Zenith

Bodyshop chain Nationwide Accident Repair, has teamed up with Zenith Insurance to provide accident management services in a two year deal worth more than £5m annually.

Under the new agreement, Nationwide Network Services will act as the first point of contact for Zenith's customers following an accident, arranging the necessary engineering or repair services. Nationwide will control the deployment of all repair work and anticipates undertaking the majority of repair services at its own bodyshops.
The contract also includes the provision of non-fault services. Michael Wilmshurst, chief executive of Nationwide said: “We are delighted to forge this new relationship with Zenith, which represents a further step forward in the growth of our motor claims management business.
“This operation, which was significantly expanded with the acquisition of Aquilo Motor Services in December 2006, complements out core accident repair activities and we look forward to continuing to develop the business further.”
