Available in saloon and estate versions, the new model comes with a wide choice of engines, including two petrol versions and four oil burners.

The new C5, which will be on sale in the UK from early 2008, features several quirky new additions, such as a seat back massage function and a choice of suspension set-ups. The car is also equipped with collapsible pedal assembly, which causes the brake and clutch pedals to retract into the floor of the footwell to limit injury to the driver's legs and feet in the event of an impact. Pricing for the new model will be announced closer to the launch date.
