Reg Vardy is to relocate its Newcastle-based Jaguar operation to the former Priory MG Rover dealership at Stamfordham Road that it acquired last month.
MG Rover customers have been redirected to the group's Fiat and MG Rover site in Gateshead. The Jaguar business had been earmarked to move to Vardy's giant MetroCentre site but due to a planning delay there and the necessity to vacate its current leased premises – it has been relocated. Reg Vardy still plans to build a used car MotorZone on the MetroCentre land.
