The group has acquired the Bristol Audi franchise from the Lancaster Group for an undisclosed sum. It follows on from JD Cleverly's April purchase of the Motor Services Audi dealership in Bath.

The deal more than doubles JD Cleverly's Audi business, taking combined capacity to 2,500 new and 1,500 used car sales. ”Growth is very much on the cards for the group which will invest up to £13m in upgrading the new dealerships and realising the potential of a further 100 jobs”, said Gavin Cleverly, the group's Audi brand director.
