Philip Maskell, inaugural chairman of the Retail Automotive Alliance, said the alliance of dealer groups already had a European representative, who was a director of trade association Secra. Meanwhile Alan Pulham, RMI franchised dealer director, believed the RAA was a motor trade milestone. He said: “This is the most innovative thing dealers have done in 20 years.”
