The biggest awards night in the motor industry calendar saw 60 finalists honoured across 20 categories.
![]() The outgoing SMMT chief executive Christopher Macgowan received the Outstanding Achievement Award for his long career in the motor industry.
The Dealer Group of the Year honours went to the Sytner Group in recognition of its performance in 2006, which saw it successfully acquire, assimilate and turnaround businesses formerly run by the William Jacks Group.
Elsewhere Skoda was named the Car Franchise of the Year and Nissan walked off with the Car Advertising Campaign honours for its Qashqai television advert.
The Motor Trader Franchised Dealership of the Year Award went to Hatfields Jaguar while Fords of Winsford picked up the Car Supermarket of the Year for the third time in succession.
