BMW unveils hyrogen fleet

BMW UK has taken delivery of a fleet of hydrogen-powered saloon cars.
The virtually emissions-free vehicles, which BMW claims are the first of their type in the world, will form part of a 100-strong fleet of hydrogen 7 models. It is the first time the hydrogen cars have been produced on the standard 7 Series production line. Hydrogen powerThe arrival of our Hydrogen 7 cars could not have come at a better time, said Jim O'Donnell, BMW UK's managing director. Politicians, business leaders, the media and consumers are engaged in debate on the future of energy supply and use. Meanwhile, the automotive industry is committed to cleaner motoring.
