VRS claims silver is the new black
29 April 2007
The debate about which colour is the preferred choice for nearly new and used car buyers in the UK is raging on.
Following recent reports suggesting that black is the colour of choice, Vehicle Remarketing Solutions has conducted its own investigation into vehicle sales between January-April 2006 and 2007. Its results show that silver is by far the most popular colour amongst buyers at 31.8 per cent, with blue (21.2 per cent) pushing black (18.3 per cent) into third place. Lewis Arthur, managing director, said: VRS is in the unique position to give a national overview of dealer activity in the UK and it is clear from our data that silver remains a popular colour of choice for dealers. Other popular choices were grey and red cars. HAVE YOUR SAY
