Wicliffe Motor Company, a 100-year old family-owned dealer group, has sold its Gloucester site to concentrate on its Nissan, Renault and MG Rover brands in nearby Stroud.
 The group wants to re-focus its business The trade parts operation serving dozens of independent garages and workshops has also transferred sites.
Wicliffe has represented the Nissan franchise for 14 years, and took on Renault following the collapse of MG Rover in 2005.
General Manager Paul Fincher said: “We took the decision to strengthen our roots in order to provide the best possible service to our customers in the Gloucestershire area.
Wicliffe started in 1907 as a cycle shop in the centre of Stroud and has operated from its current premises in 1970.
