WILLIAMSON MOTORS has appointed a new general sales manager to develop its Peugeot and Citroen dealerships in Darlington.

Lee Mason has taken up the role and will have overall responsibility for around 20 staff at Williamson's two sites in Chesnut Street. Mason began his career selling cars in 1994, starting as a junior salesman on new and used cars and eventually working up to general sales manager with a Gateshead Citroen dealership.

MANHEIM AUCTIONS has announced the appointment of Alan Parkinson to the new position of director of operational planning and strategy. Parkinson comes from the RBS subsidiary Lombard, where he held a number of senior positions over 20 years, including director of Lombard Vehicle Management, Jamjarcars and Dixon Motors. In his new role, Parkinson will drive strategic operational initiatives and major projects within Manheim's UK auction business.

CHRYSLER JEEP dealership Hatfields has appointed a new sales manager Neil Bramma to assist with the launch of the Dodge brand at its Nether Poppleton showroom. Bramma brings 13 years experience in the industry, including roles with Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz and an automotive data intelligence firm.

MIKE SANDERS has been appointed as a retail sales
controller for new and used vans for south coast-based Hendy Group. Sanders will be heading up the group's CV operation in Portsmouth and South-ampton.
