ClaimWatch rolls out web-based tracking system to Call 24/7 bodyshop network

Online vehicle repair tracking company ClaimWatch has signed a contract to roll out its web based tracking system to the 158 bodyshops across the Call 24-7 repair network.


The ClaimWatch system aims to make use of management information and audit trails for insurers whilst reducing the unproductive administration time spent at repairers.
When a repair job is accepted into Call 24-7's network, all the details will be automatically entered into ClaimWatch. As soon as a bodyshop has been allocated the job, it can bring all the relevant data up on the computer.
Details are updated by the repairer as the vehicle moves through the repair process and can be accessed by a secure ID number by the car owner. Customers are also kept updated with the repair via text messages.
Colin Morris, Call 24-7's chief motor engineer, praised the system for its ease of use. He added: “It's a really intelligent use of communication technology and it is its simplicity that it is so appealing.”
